Scott Gumieny is a seasoned accounting instructor and CPA with over a decade of experience in both academia and public accounting. He teaches a wide range of subjects, including individual and entity taxation, governmental and nonprofit accounting, and advanced accounting topics. Scott is passionate about mentoring future professionals and has led student tax initiatives that returned millions in refunds to the West Michigan community.

At Bluestone Tax Group, Scott plays a key role in developing our internship and student learning programs, ensuring clients receive expert service while students gain invaluable real-world experience. He is a member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) and the Michigan Association of CPAs (MICPA), and an advisor to Business Professionals of America.
